Crystal Fox (Underwood), 60, of Gibbstown, NJ, passed away May 19, 2025. She is the beloved daughter of the late Helen Underwood (Rowand) and Victor Underwood, the loving wife of William (Bill) Fox III, and loving mother of Jacqueline (Jacque) Chambers. Crystal is also survived by her only grandson, Eric Kachnovitz, her maternal Uncle Roy and Aunt Carol Rowand, and several cousins. Predeceased by her late Father-in-law, William Fox Jr.

Crystal was born in Woodbury, NJ, on January 17, 1965, and grew up in Pitman, NJ; Pitman High School Class Of 1983. She was later a resident of Paulsboro, NJ, but grew her roots in Gibbstown, NJ starting in 2003. Crystal loved spending time with her family and friends, but most of all, she loved spending as much time as possible supporting her grandson. In the Fall, Winter, & Spring she spent most of her time at his sporting events or school functions, even stepping up to coach the kids when no one else volunteered. When she wasn't busy doing that, she loved cooking, especially baking. If you needed pound cake, cookies, cheesecake, cream puffs, cupcakes, pies, etc., she was your go to! Her potato salad was also in high demand. When Crystal spent time with her friends, she enjoyed shooting pool and darts, having cookouts, going on an occasional vacation, going to countless conventions in Wildwood, taking day trips to Booths Corner, or just going out to lunch. Crystal loved to socialize!

As an adult, Crystal worked at Struthers-Dunn in Pitman, NJ until it closed around 1994. She was later employed by Bally's Casino in Atlantic City, Omega Engineering in Swedesboro, NJ, and then became a bartender in Paulsboro and Gibbstown, NJ. Her customers loved her bubbly personality, and she made lasting friendships.

Crystal was a current member of the Elks Lodge in Deptford, NJ, and she was a former member of the Woodbury Moose Lodge in Paulsboro, NJ. Crystal was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the occasion!
