Carmella E. Murphy (nee Futia), 59, of Gibbstown, passed away May 22, 2010. She is the beloved wife of Ed Murphy, devoted mother of Scott (Catherine) Murphy, loving sister of Vincent, James (Mary), Michael (Christine), Joseph (Kim) Futia, and, grandmother of Grace, Justin and Emma Murphy. Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Mary (nee Hediger) Futia.

Carmella was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gibbstown Fire Department, Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Cara Irish Society.

A viewing will be on Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 8:15-9:15am at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am at the St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. If anyone wishes donations may be made to the Guardian Angels School, 150 S.
