Byron "Barney" Manchester, 93, of Paulsboro, passed away October 7, 2012. He is the beloved husband of Violet R. (nee DiTonno), devoted father of Lola Urban, Bonnie (Joe) Bucco, loving brother of Arlene Bradford, Ruth Driver, Louise Kier, Leon (Barbara) Manchester, also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

"Barney" was a US WWII Navy Veteran who served aboard the USS Nashville, earned the Purple Heart as well as the Presidential Unit Citation. He was a avid sports fan, a devoted Paulsboro Raiders fan, loved fishing, and, especially loved being with his family and grandchildren.

A viewing will be on Thursday 9-11am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., followed by services at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
