With heavy hearts, the DeWalt family is deeply saddened to announce that Brian Douglas DeWalt, age 49, has left this earthly plane on June 11, 2025 after a hard fought battle with dermatomyositis. Brian leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years and best friend of 38 years, Karen DeWalt (nee Peck), his son Zachary J. DeWalt, and daughter Trisha L. DeWalt. Survived by his parents Roger and Shirley DeWalt, siblings, Scott DeWalt (Faith), Michael DeWalt (Kristin Newkirk), and Cheryl McAllister (John), niece Chelsea DeWalt and nephews Joshua DeWalt and John McAllister.Brian spent his working years at the family business, DeWalt Manufacturing, where his dedication, skill, and quiet strength left an indelible mark.

Brian's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He treasured time playing video games with his children, diving into epic Dungeons and Dragons adventures, and passing along to his children his love of comic books and the Star Wars Universe. He was a kind, funny, thoughtful man who found wonder in fantasy worlds and magic in every day life.
Brian's absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will live on in every story he shared, every game played and every star filled night.
