Bernadette Miskiewicz (Sim), of Paulsboro, NJ passed away peacefully at her home, on August 14, 2025, with her children by her side.

Bernadette, or as she liked to be called "Bernie", was a simple person, who enjoyed watching tv, sitting on the porch, and going to the casinos. She was the queen of the Boatyard, where many patrons would wave to her or often ask how she was doing, particularly after our Dad had passed away.

She was brave and strong and in the end, she went when she felt she was ready. We take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with our Dad.

Bernie is survived by her two children, Michael Miskiewicz, Jr, and Diane Skala (Todd), her brother James Sim (Julie), brother-in-law Adam Miskiewicz, and Sisters-in Law Rosemary Williams and Sally McManus, her two granddaughters Stefanie Breen and Adrienne Miskiewicz, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Rosemary Sim and Zigmunt "Ziggy" and Antoinette Miskiewicz, her sister Maryrose Zadlo, brothers Ronald and Stephen Sim, her grandson Kevin Breen, and her loving husband of more than fifty years Michael Miskiewicz, Sr.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 19th at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St, from 9AM - 11AM. At her request, no service will follow the viewing and internment will be private.
