Anthony "Tony" Gattuso, 80, of Gibbstown, a lifetime resident of the community, passed away April 30, 2008. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Pauline "Polly" (nee Villari), his brother Vince (Lucy) Gattuso, Mickleton, 66 nieces & nephews, 30 Godchildren, all who loved him dearly.
After 30 years of service "Tony" retired from Mobil Oil where he worked as a security guard and in the Powerhouse and he was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was dedicated and loyal to many organizations; for 51 years a Life Member of the Gibbstown Fire Association, St. Michael's Church, Paulsboro Sons of Italy, Knights of Columbus and the Paulsboro- Swedesboro Masonic Lodge.
"Tony" enjoyed many things, but, most of all he was a loving and dedicated family man.
A viewing will be on Sunday 6-9pm and Monday 8:15-9:15am at the Landolfi Funeral Home of Paulsboro, 300 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at the St. Michael's Church, Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. The Masons will perform their service 7:30pm, Sunday evening. Interment Eglington Mausoleum.
