Anne Pettit (nee Blizzard), 81, of Bridgeport NJ,  passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 .

She was born at Duke University in Durham, NC and raised in Pennsville, NJ. The daughter of the late Pauline Camp and Oren Booker Thurman. The wife of the late Louis Pettit Jr. to whom she was married for 37 years before his passing in 2020.

She is survived by her children; Tonya Wilk, James Evans, and Shondelyn Pettit. She was predeceased by her daughter Vedata "Dottie" Dockendorff. She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her nieces.

Anne was a proud homemaker but also worked for the Logan Township middle school as a teacher's aide. Prior to that, Anne spent many years as a local hairdresser. She was known for her love of dancing and singing, especially to country music.
