Angeline "Angie" Corradetti (Piccirelli), of Gibbstown, beloved wife of the late Louie Corradetti, passed away peacefully at the age of 96, with her family by her side.
Born and raised in Penns Grove, Angie was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rose Piccirelli. She is predeceased by her sister Anne Snell and brother Rick Piccirelli. She is survived by her children, John Corradetti and Karen Burzichelli (Nick); her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Maccarone (Sam) and Melissa Burzichelli (Brian); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Mari, Luca, Lena, and Dino.
Angie was a proud graduate of Penns Grove High School and worked as a secretary for DuPont for 10 years before dedicating herself to raising her children. Later, she worked in the cafeteria at Broad Street School, where she served generations of children for 20 years before retiring. She also spent many hours with the Ladies Auxiliary of Saint Michael's Club cooking and serving food during various occasions.
Angie found joy in life's simple pleasures: monthly casino trips to play the slots, shopping at Boscov's, day trips with her girlfriends, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid baker, best known for her famous pizzelles and many other delicious treats she proudly shared with family and friends.
Come celebrate 96 wonderful years as we honor Angie's life on Friday, October 3rd, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, Gibbstown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
