Angela Cavalea (nee Marino), 92, of Gibbstown passed away peacefully Monday, March 8, 2010 at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. Angela was born and raised in Hibbing, Minnesota and lived in Paulsboro/Gibbstown area for nearly 75 years with her late husband Tony.

Mrs. Cavalea was a homemaker who loved cooking, gardening, traveling to Canada and Florida, and sewing, especially clothes for her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved so much. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Paulsboro.

She was the beloved wife of 69 years to the late, Tony Cavalea. Angela is survived by her children, Vincent (Kathy) Cavalea of Gibbstown, and Patty (John) Palladino of Paulsboro; her grandchildren, Jillian, Johnny (Nicole), and Vincent Palladino, Brinda, Kathleen, and Toni Cavalea; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Teresa Buccelli; her brothers, Fritz, Stephen, Sammy, and Anthony Marino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 13, 2010 in St. John's the Evangelist Church, 7th and Beacon Aves., Paulsboro. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the Landolfi Funeral Home, 300 West Broad Street, Paulsboro and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
