Alvin F. Moody, 77, of Gibbstown, passed away July 7, 2013, at home, with his daughters by his side. He is the husband of the late RoseMarie and Ethel Marie Moody. Beloved father of Thomas (MarySue) Moody, Alvin Francis Moody, Jr., Jackie (Bruce) Evans and Thresia Moody, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Brother of Jackie and Sodie Moody and SaraLou Hampton.

Alvin was born and raised in North Carolina, son of the late Thomas and Mae Moody. He has resided in New Jersey for the last 47 years and retired from the American Dredging Company after 34 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Gibbstown VFW and Babe's Bar.
