On April 19, 2018 of Gibbstown, NJ age 75 yrs. Devoted mother of Joseph A.S. Almeida (Michele), Olga S. Carlson (nee Almeida), Anthony S. Almeida (Lisa), Brian S. Almeida (Amber), and the late Daniel Almeida. Loving grandmother of Brandon, Corinne, Ryan, Mark, Alyssa, Amelia, and Brianna. Alice was a strong proud woman who was born and raised in Portugal. She immigrated to the U.S.A at the age of 21 and worked tirelessly to learn English so that she could become a U.S. citizen. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and was very proud of all their accomplishments. Alice enjoyed cooking her famous meatballs, gardening, dancing the "Chicken Dance," attended church and vacationing with her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM and again on Thursday morning from 9:15am to 10:15am at the LANDOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Broad St., Paulsboro, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am in St, Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, 313 Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
