Adriano "Tony" Melis, 78, of Mt. Royal, passed away April 21, 2009 after a valiant battle with cancer. He is the beloved husband of Edna (nee Sutherland), loving father of Angela (Raymond) Gezzi, Thomas (Dawn) Melis, both of Paulsboro, devoted grandfather of Nickolas and Sydney Melis and Raymond Gezzi.

Born in Venice, Italy, coming to the U.S. at the age of 21, he has resided in Mt. Royal for the past 45 years. He retired from the Bricklayer's Union Local #5, out of Bordentown, after 27 years of service.

At the request of the family interment will be private. In "Tony's" memory donations may be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton NJ 08053.
